Previous Employment:
Sept 97 to present: Boots The Chemist, Wakefield, West Yorkshire.
Presently I am working for Boots in the evenings whilst seeking full-time employment.
Aug 96 to Sept 96: Barnsley College, Barnsley, South Yorkshire.
Between college and university, I was employed by Barnsley College as a supervisor on their summer IT programme. My main task was overseeing a group of operators, creating documents for the college database. To achieve this I had to train individuals how to use Windows and Microsoft Office, and develop their general IT skills. These documents were then prepared for publishing on the Internet.
Nov 94 to Mar 96: Fore Street Employment Agency, Hertford, Hertfordshire.
To support my studies at college I took temporary employment with Fore Street during holidays. With them I took a wide variety of positions including kitchen, warehouse and office work.
Nov 93 to April 94: Daly Smith Corporation, Sydney, Australia.
Whilst living in Australia, I was employed by the Daly Smith Corporation as a temp, working in warehouses, offices, and on building sites.
Jan 92 to Aug 93: Malaysian Rubber Producers Research Association, Hertford, Hertfordshire.
Employed as a Laboratory Technician, carrying out support duties and experimental work for senior scientists.

Key Skills:
My study at the Leeds Metropolitan University has equipped me with a wide range of IT, and Media related skills. the course included elements such as: maths, electronics, communication principles, graphics, music, programming (visual basic, HTML), 3D Modelling, and video techniques. Many of these elements were combined and incorporated into individual and group project work.

Due to the nature of my degree, I have had to obtain a variety of IT skills. I am particularly proficient with the Windows environment, and have experience of many of the industry standard software packages. Now that the Multimedia possibilities of the Internet are being realised, I have developed a working knowledge of HTML, and its associated technologies.

I am a highly motivated and determined individual, able to adopt a relaxed attitude to overcoming difficulties on my own, or as part of a team. I can acquire skills quickly, and I am confident of my own abilities.
